Wondrous Bughouse is an album that from the start fills the listener with positive yet reflective energy (similar to how I feel after I listen to the Soft Bulletin). The music arrives in waves that come in the form of syths, guitars, bells and that childlike voice that works so well as he looks to the skies and questions whom or whatever may or may not be looking down on us. "Where The Year of Hibernation" was a lo-fi bedroom affair that was just an entry point for Trevor's creativity, Wondrous Bughouse is a vast exploration of sound and possibility the brings the listener to places. that weren't visited on his previous effort.

The album kick off with a short instrumental that contains sythns that garbble and slowly crumble into nothing.ness. Things kick into utter kinetic energy with the next song "Mute". There are so many different types of chaotic sounds to indulge in with this song and at no time does it ever feel over-produced. I was even was hearing some classic elements from the shoegaze genre, Another excellent highlight is "Dropla' which has an intricate melody and chorus that has Trevor repeating the phrase "you'll never die" with conviction.  'Wondrous Bughouse' is an album that  will take the listener on an utterly unique journey that is strange, joyous, nostalgic and will leave you wondering what else this young man might have waiting for us in the future.
