This CD is very good. It does have a 'thrown together' feel to it, and is all over the map, but the musicianship makes up for it. It is a roller coaster ride. The title is prefect for the album as all the songs don't really gel, they are oddities in themselves. Some of the reviewers are being harsh, love Mike Patton blindly or loved 'Anonymous'. Though I did like that CD it was a stretch and had a purpose (the writing interpretations). This is back to the band being the band. Maybe not as 'New' sounding as they sounded on disc 1, not as focused as a strong rock record as 'Mit Gas' but it gets better the more you listen if you are into them. Some of the Bass playing on here is excellent! As is the Drumming off beats. You see, this band is much more than just Patton.

Granted, this disc isn't perfect and i hoped it was slightly better after waiting so long, but something tells me in a few months it will sit just as well as the other discs in their catalog. I will also say that this is better than the last few CD's I took a chance on purely because they have the Mike Patton name on them. I like Tomahawk because its not all about his vision. The players on this CD should be commended, the musicianship is awesome.. Its a very interesting listen. Give it a try, especially if you like eccentric music and Tomahawk in general.
