Listening to Triple Three LP is a mind trip and the places you’ll go are far and near and span the vast time and space of musical genres. Rosko Taint brings us his multi-faceted talents from Connecticut and channeled his visual art talents into the musical world. This is the artist’s first release and it is a bit of a feat to lump Triple Three LP into one genre. I am reminded of psychedelic surf rock like The Drums and experimental alternative chillwave from other productions like Here We Go Magic and Dream Koala.

Starting off the album, the intro track is super conscious and the countless voice samples evoke feelings of existentialism, dystopian values, rebellion and bliss in one minute of sound clips. Moving along, “Holdin’ on to Jamie” is a very appealing track that gives off surfy beach vibes. The style of the percussion and the guitars seem to almost contradict Rosko’s voice as it is a bit ironic and lyrical; yet the two separate worlds seem to come together to create a weird space beach experience where things don’t quite make sense but everything is “alright.”

“Technology Blues” is an awesome punk rock filled track that emulates the style of The White Stripes and Death From Above 1979. Right from the beginning the tangy and sour guitar riff gets you hyped up right before the starchy vocals come in to proclaim “technology is fu**in’ with me.” The song is gritty in nature and as the song goes on it becomes super catchy and you find yourself banging your head to the steady beat.

Rosko Taint’s music is filled with rebellious rock vibes and has classic rock psychedelic roots that all meld together to form a new contemporary post-modern electro psych rock genre. The music is compelling in nature and effortlessly seems to draw you off to new worlds. Sound quality of the album is a little rough around the edges, but at times I feel like this adds to the overall style of the album. This is a great listen for anyone interested in experimental rock or indie chill wave.
